They create hurt, but they also create healing. Yesterday I decided that what me and my son needed was a day at home together, as he was really protesting about going to nursery. Helping others through their pain heals our own pain which leads to growth which leads to the blossoming we hoped and prayed would come one day. That tree is not the same as before, but I believe it’s stronger, more resilient, more beautiful than before. I could say the same for my family. In grief, there is growth in pain, there is blossoming.
