The sudden feeling of solitude trickled through my skin. I decided to walk her to class because I may be a tad bit late than I’d expected. Moreover, the scorching thirty six degree Celcius heat did not help me more than the cars causing the congestion. To my luck, I reached her kindergarten right on time. The fields, once overflowing with boisterous children playing; now empty.

Pictures adorn the walls with Frank’s girls including Ava Gardner, Angie Dickinson, Juliet Prowse, Jill St. John etc. Just swing babe. My family and I, exhausted, go to the cafeteria for dinner. I see fellow p-town alums Justin Cave and Emily Mathews roll in with a big pot of homemade chili that they cooked for us! It was such a nice gesture. You amaze me by the way you keep trying, no matter what comes at you. The school years can seem endless and hopeless at times. But you have the strength and the resiliency to get through them.
